Meeting up with Mazatlan Frank

We're going to be taking the 4 hour city tour with Mazatlan Frank on our Nov cruise. We're supposed to get off the ship at 8:30a then take a shuttle to the terminal building where we exit and meet him.

 

How hard is it to get on one of these shuttles and what is the terminal buidling for? I've never been there before and want to make sure I get on the right shuttle to the right place!

The cruise ship dock is in the heart of an industrial port facility. Passengers get off the ship, board shuttles (trams) and are taken to a terminal area away from all of the industrial activity.

 

When we were last there, they used daisy-chained trams like those you would see taking people from parking lots into a theme park. (think Disney World) These ran at frequent intervals and you should have very little delay getting on one.

 

I think "terminal building" is a generous term for a collection of first/last chance shopping opportunities where passengers get on/off the shuttle trams.

ok, thank you! That clears things up. Sounds like you can't really get on the wrong one then. He did say to try and avoid the timeshare people and go through the building. I thought that was funny!

We also fretted about meeting up with our guide, but once you get there, it couldn't be clearer. They do a good job of funneling you through the building.

oh yeah walk through the building, once you come out you will see frank , he will be there with a sign with your name on it,

i emailed him pics of us before we went, so he knew who we were ...
