Triumph Upper Deck Balcony Question

We're getting what sounds like a great price for a Triumph Balcony on the Upper Deck through a local TA. With the Promenade Deck directly below us I'm concerned that the noise will be a problem. TA says we won't hear any noise. Can anyone comment on this? We haven't booked so don't have a specific cabin number. I'd like to hear pros/cons and any recommendations that you would like to share. :)

We stayed on Upper both times on the Victory(sister to triumph). First time we were mid ship and never heard anything. Second time we were forward and right above the main show lounge. We heard the whole show in our cabin. It didnt bother my ds who slept through the whole thing each night.:D

I've stayed on Upper deck balconies 3 time on Triumph and have another booked for December. I've never had any noise or other problems from Promenade. The only time I've ever heard anything from below is during sailaway from ports...Lots of folks head for the Promenade to watch....other than that, nothing.

You'll love the Triumph. She's a great ship!!!!

Thanks! That's exactly the kind of info I was looking for. I've read horror stories of lots of noise from discos/casinos, etc. The Sailaway is not going to be a problem either......we'll be up there partying along with everyone else.
