Cincy-David Posted July 28, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2008 We are renting a car from Hertz. They have locations at both ends and at Miami will transport you from the Downtown location to the Port for Free. There are also numerous shuttles or just take a taxi. It is only about 25 miles or so. You should have no problem finding a way. When you land in FLL, go to the Transportation desk and they will help you. There is a thread about this I started a while back, here is the link: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=782606 Have a great cruise, Dave
bbrad8 Posted July 29, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2008 gal40: If you wait until you get to the airport, Go Shuttle has the airport contract. They have a Kiosk just outside the baggage claim area and no reservation is required. Other services must be reserved (as they are not allowed the same 'benefit' as Go Shuttle)...... Names we have come across (and this is NOT a recommendation.....): http://www.qualitylimoservice.com/default.aspx?pageid=1 http://www.americatransportationonline.com/ http://www.floridalimo.com/ (this is the Go Shuttle site) Hope this helps. Bruce redwings: Have copied above what I posted on another thread earlier today. Check out the links if you wish to have something set prior to your arrival OR simply go the the Kiosk and reserve your share ride when you arrive. Your choice. Will say you can do the share ride van for about the same cost as hassling w/ a rental (unless you are taking your family). IF taking your family, check the 'other' links......
