itf Posted July 31, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2008 Booked three excursions last week with Princess for our cruise on the Emerald in November, but now the option to book excursions is gone from the cruise personaliser. Is this a common thing? Will what I've booked still be confirmed?
bhopal21 Posted July 31, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2008 Yes, this has been happening too frequently lately. The excursions will reappear and you will most probably have to reenter your selections as the previouis choices will be cleared. spongerob Posted July 31, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2008 Maybe Princess needs to buy a Mac. :D If Vista was a car, they'd call it Edsel.

Colo Cruiser Posted July 31, 2008 #6 Share Posted July 31, 2008 Our Ruby cruise 11/08 had only Ocho Rios show up several weeks ago (130 days out), only to disappear too a few days later. We are still 100 days or so out and nothing has popped back up yet. :(
nabby Posted July 31, 2008 #7 Share Posted July 31, 2008 I think I've been doing too much boat maintenance lately - I read the title of this thread as "Varnishing Excursion Options"! (Why would anyone want to take that one?) It will be a pleasure to be on a boat where someone else is doing the maintenance, that's for sure. :D
WCAB Posted July 31, 2008 #8 Share Posted July 31, 2008 This happened to me. One port opened up for our 10/31/08 cruise. I pre-booked an excursion. I looked yesterday and excursions are not open at all. I did play around with the personalizer and it did still show what I had already booked as having been booked, so check before you rebook. sunshine426 Posted July 31, 2008 #10 Share Posted July 31, 2008 My booking has dissapeared as well:eek: I was so excited because this one is known to sell out, and I was relieved to have it booked. I'll have to keep a sharp eye out for when the reopen.
cacy6893076 Posted August 1, 2008 #11 Share Posted August 1, 2008 all shook up out there with the earthquake, which rolled all the way from chino hills north to bakersfield (santa clarita is between the two)and south to orange county, whether or not it knocked out certain aspects of the site, I don't know, but it may be what is going on over the last day or so. We recommend a cruise for this purpose.
