kathybon Posted August 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2008 We are traveling on AOS, leaving August 10, and we have a vegetarian in our party. Does RCCL have a vegetarian menu that she can choose from, or is she limited to the one or two items on their regular menu that is vegetarian (not much choice). Thanks! dwdwnurse Posted August 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2008 There is always some vegetarian choices on the menu - especially a pasta dish every evening. My mother, a vegeterian, thoroughly enjoyed her meals on the Serenade this past Dec. You can also have a salad with every dinner.

I too am a vegetarian, and while they don't have a separate menu, they offered 2-3 vegetarian options on the Explorer this past July. They will also offer veg choices for appetizers. Have a great cruise!
ehfl Posted August 3, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2008 When you check in online, you can select a vegetarian meal.
kathybon Posted August 3, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted August 3, 2008 Thank you for the help - yes, we did select the vegetarian meal when checking in online. We thought that perhaps since we made this selection in advance, that she might have more options than are on the standard menu.
mikeqube Posted August 3, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 3, 2008 I'm a vegetarian and sailed on the AOS earlier this year and never had a problem finding something to eat. There were options each night in the dining room, the windjammer pretty much had what the dining room was serving with a few extras. At Johnny Rockets they have a veggie burger that is worth the $3 or $4 it costs to go in there. If you're on the itinerary that ges to Aruba, there is a place called Iguana Joe's that is right near the port that has a bunch of veggie options, it's highly recommended. Daghis Posted August 4, 2008 #7 Share Posted August 4, 2008 My husband is also a vegetarian (actually more of a "pescetarian", vegetarian + seafood) and had no problems finding vegetarian choices on the menus or in Windjammer.
