If the mods will indulge me . I'm trying to find a website with nice cargo ship photos to use for computer wallpaper. I haven't been able to locate any. All help is welcome.

Try googling "FREIGHTER," then click on images. You'll find a big bunch of images, and frequently if you click on a link you'll find many more on the various web pages.

Here's a link to Shipspotting.com, once on go to ship photos on the side menu bar & click. This will open up another menu, detailing the different categorys of ships from freighters to tankers & cruise ships to ferries, there are some stunning photos free for you to download and you don't have to join either.

 

Beware though as there are over 500,000 photos on this site, & it may be helpful if you knew the name of a certain ship, if not just search each page as you go.

I use "John's Background Switcher". It automatically downloads photos from Flickr, Picasa, any picture feed you like, and displays them as wallpaper on your desktop. All you do is supply the keywords.

 

It's free, and the guy who wrote it, John, is a lovely guy.
