They may not be exactly the same as Fascination, but what I got on Fascination in November is on these menus so they have to be pretty close to the same.

 

I knew you would know where to find the menus. I even looked at your webshots thinking you had them there.:)

I seem to remember reading in the Jacksonville only thread that is was $30 flat rate each way. I know we paid $20 to go from the port to our house about 8 miles away last Nov.

 

The airport is about 11-12 miles form the port.

We are in Nassau from 8AM-6PM. Stuart Cove says we can't make the morning snorkel and wants to book us for the afternoon. Looks to me like that would make us dangerously close to missing the ship. Just wondered if anyone had done the afternoon when the ship was leaving at 6PM

I haven't but be careful. They ask you to be back onboard either 30mins or a hour before sailing time. When we left Nassau we left about 30-45 minutes early. I'm sure everyone was already onboard though.

You take a cab there, pay $60pp and you get all of the normal all inclusive activities....rock climbing wall, adult beverages, pool, beach, and all you can eat buffets. We did this on our New Years Day cruise and had a ball. Pool is too cool to swim, but nice to lay in the sun.

We got 4 Quarts (not 750 ml) of Cruzan flavored rum on board for $29.95... nowhere off the ship was close.

 

Most other was close but much more variety off the ship.

We didn't check Nassau prices, but we did get 2 liters of Absolute vodka for $28 or $29 in the ships duty free store the last day.

LOL.....reminds me of sneaking coolers out of the house when I was 16 wrapped in towels so the bottles wouldn't clink!

 

Can anyone tell me, on the Fascincation, I know they did the room upgrades, and have the flat screens now, does anyone know if there are AV jacks in the front or rear? I know on the Liberty the TV channel choice was terrible, not that we'll be inthe room much, but I would like to be able to hook up my portable DVD player for a movie to relax one day.

I really didn't look... they have a few channels that have movies playing all day. We were in the room to sleep/make drinks/shower/change. Did not do much just sitting... although we did do some on the balcony.

If you buy it in the duty free shop can you drink it in your room? Or take take drinks out of your room? or do they keep that also? I plan to bring my GOODIES.(You know drinks of course) We arent taking the kids and we have a balcony so we can really relax.

If you buy liquor in the Duty Free shops or port you will get it on your last night.

I've never had a Majoto so I can't answer that part... but I plan on trying one next time...

Grilled chicken was there in Jan... The bar outside the casino, lobby bar and the one at the back of the lido deck is your best bet.

Has anyone rented a cabana at HMC? How much? How many people can be in there? How much for extra people? What's included with it?

We rented a cabana last September - don't remember how much it was, but it was worth it! We had a large group and didn't have any problem with using the cabana for the day - no one questioned how many people we had in the cabana. We were provided drinks for 4, and snorkeling equipment for 4 - so be prepared when you sign up for it to give that information (it caught me off guard). I just ordered some soft drinks that I knew people in our group would like, and then we took some of the drinks we had on board (pre-purchased before we boarded the ship) with us on shore. They have a pretty nice lunch, and some ice tea and water that you can get as well. They had a few snacks (chips and guacamole and some fruit) in the cabana. The bar boys walk down the beach ocassionally and you can order more drinks or beer or whatever you want. It goes on your sail and sign card. We were in the purple one - but you can find lots more information on the locations of all of them in the HMC board.

The cabana's were $250 I believe....

 

The lobby bar was open pretty late... the latest we walked by was about 2am and there was someone there(our room was on the Empress deck)

We are going April 9th on the Fascination out of JAX. I read that you can board the ship around 1230p and we leave at 4pm.......what do you do if getting on the ship early, are the restrauants open, casinos, kid club??? I tried calling Carnival but didn't get much help from them. thanks!!!
