decorations?

We will be sailing on the Noordam Dec 7-14. Do you think they will have Christmas decorations up? I know iit might be rushing the season, but I do hope they will. I'll be eager to get into the holiday spirit!

We were on Westerdam last December 16-23 sailing and I had the same question because I thought that perhaps they only decorated for the actual "holiday" sailings that occur over Christmas. Everything was decorated for the holidays when we boarded and it did not seem that it was just put up right before we boarded. I do not know when they do it, but I would imagine that perhaps it will be either done prior to your boarding or during your sailing.

 

We also brought our own Christmas stockings and hung outside our door to add to the festivities of the season.

It will vary a little with the ship, but on our Dec 9>16 cruise on the Veendam it was fully decorated when we boarded.

Its hard to say, usually they start around the !5 of December, but sometime, they will decorate that early.

They have one company that comes aboard and decorates the ship in one day. They schedule out the fleet in the early part of December and guess it is a madder of the draw.
