How many ports are there in St Marten. My Daughter is on the Mariner of The Seas, their itinerary changed because of the hurricane. Her best friend is staying at a resort. They are trying to meet up with each other. So that leaves me (mother) trying to relay messages. Daughter only has access to email, friend only has her cell phone. They are both calling/emailing me to find out where they are suppose to meet. What is the best place?:eek:

There's only one pier in St. Maarten......:)

 

Tell them to meet right outside the gates.

 

Just thinking......your daughter can always get a taxi to the resort....they are right there at the pier.

To the best of my knowledge there is only Philipsburg that services cruise ships. Outside the gates would be the easiest place to meet with the least likelihood of missing each other.

^ Agreed, outside the gates to the Pier is the closest place to meet, as Security requires a SeaPass card (or the cruise line's passenger ID) to get into the pier area. We had to show ours when returning through the gates.
