What to do on your own?

I will be cruising to Cozumel on the 18th with 4 of my girlfriends. We want to book a tour on our own because it's cheaper. I was looking online and found Island Marketing...anyone ever heard or booked with them?

 

Any other ideas of things to do would be great. We will be there from 7am-6pm and we want to do and see as much as possible.

We usually rent a vehicle in Cozumel and drive all around. Most itineraries provide a nice long day in this port. Go see the San Gervasio Ruins, maybe Chankanaab Park (take your snorkel gear), check out some places like Panchos Backyard or the other restaurants and beaches people talk about on this board, do some shopping in town. We have rented a jeep and have done as posted. We rented when we docked and not before. There are several to choice from at the pier. Watch for unsuspecting stop signs posted on buildings. Also allow some extra time to refill.
