mikjr Posted August 31, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2008 We are considering a Mexican Riviera cruise in 2009 on the new Splendor. We haven't cruise Carnival for several years, but have read about the itineraries on the new Splendor. Unfortunately, because the Splendor is new, I haven't been able to find much information about her. I know she is LARGE... but other than stateroom photos, there's not much on the Carnival website. For the past several years, we have cruised with Princess and Celebrity, and in Sept will be our first with HAL So... I would be interested in hearing from anyone that has either read about or actually cruised on Splendor. Or direct me to any reviews of the ship. I'd also be interested hearing any comparisons between Spendor and Princess, HAL, and X. thanks...

nolaAlive Posted September 1, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 1, 2008 Lots of pictures on Splendor:http://www.zydecocruiser.com/splendor/splendor.htm This WAS my impression. ;) I find the food to be better on Carnival compared to Princess. Haven't been on HAL in a while, but really disliked the Holland food night in the dinning room (do they still do that). Never tried X.
