Hi everyone,

Can you smart people please tell me how many cruises it takes to get to different levels with Carnival and what you get for them? :) Also what other cruise lines are with Carnival and do they count too?????

Thank you so much

On your second cruise, you will be a Past Guest. Your S&S card will be gold. You'll be invited to the Past Guest party (cruises of 5 days and more), will receive a nice Carnival pin with the ships name on it. You'll also be eligible for any Past Guest Discounts that come up and upgrades on many sailing.

On your 10th cruise, you will be a Platinum Cruiser. Your card will be silver. Really nice perks come with that....VIP priority boarding, priority on the Tenders, your own line at the Purser's Desk, free laundry, some nice little hors d'oeuvres sent to your cabin. A small gift item....and some other goodies.

On your 25th cruise, you have all the above plus really, really nice discounts on your cruise......

Word has it that Carnival is revamping and upgrading some of the perks for 10+ and up. Nothing yet, though.

First cruise: Red/white/blue card. Welcome to Carnival.

Second through ninth cruises: Gold card. Welcome back to Carnival. Past Guest party on five night or longer cruises; ship's pin.

Tenth cruise: Platinum card. VIP. Lots of gifts and extra services.

Carnival Corporation owns Carnival, HAL, Princess, Cunard, Seabourn, Costa, and a few others.

No, any cruises on those lines do not count toward Platinum on Carnival. You may get a past guest rate IF one is going on at the time you book. That's it; no past guest party, etc. The lines are run as their own entity.
