t2digital Posted September 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2008 We booked the Victory on May 31st (Southern Cruise)....we were offered the opportunity to upgrade to Deck 7 or 8 but seven was all the way in the front and 8 was all the way in the back. I opted for Deck 6 (upper) in the middle. Was this a wise decision or am I really missing out on the "upgrade."

I think you will enjoy where you are as well and if it gets rough at sea the ride will be a bit smoother midship.
volfan22701 Posted September 21, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 21, 2008 we also were on deck 6 on the victory, and loved it. only one flight of stairs down and into where a lot of the evening activity was. we enjoyed the location a lot. we were very near the front elevators. this was our first and we thought the ship was beautiful. doug
bleuiz Posted September 21, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 21, 2008 We had 7 aft and found it to be a smooth ride........ 8 midship was fine.......although we lucked out.........it was under the Lido deck but a section where there wasn't much noise so our party didn't have a problem....... We were on 6 last time....above a lounge
