Hilton Garden Inn LAX/El Segundo ?

There's not really anything good around there.

It's very business park/industrial.

Are you just going there late at night to sleep, then go to LAX in the morning?

If so, that's okay.

If you are staying longer than that, and want someplace where it's a bit nicer with restaurants, walks, or views the night before or morning before - there are a lot of better places you could stay that would fit the bill.

Let me know, if that works for you, or if you have more plans in mind I could suggest other options.

Thanks for the input Curt. Yes, we just want a place to sleep that night where the rental car is safe until we return it the next morning.

It's very nice for that...

Just be aware that the Metro train is right outside the front - so you want to specifically request a room far back from that (runs all night).

And, they are pretty good (not always, but most often) about giving you a free shuttle to restaurants or shopping.

If you have time, see if they might take you to...

(or you have your own rental car, so they can give you easy directions)

Plaza El Segundo

Any of the "Grills" (especially the veggie) are great for lunch or dinner, and I highly recommend Pinkberry for dessert/snack.

or Manhattan Village

I'd recommend Island's for California style burgers, salads, and fries (get a basket!)

Hope that helps!

Let me know if you have any more questions.
