GamblinNan Posted October 22, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2008 Has anyone ever stayed in cabin 710/714/or 718 on the emerald deck on the Crown? Do they have obstructed vieews? The decks plans look as thought they are unobstructed, but they are listed as obstructed. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
davidnsteph Posted October 22, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2008 According to the deck plan, these are definitely unobstructed. Because there is a lifeboat a few cabins forward, there may be a remote possibility of not seeing very far forward. This probably isn't a factor. You will not have much peripheral vision through the window, and will mostly be seeing straight out. Hope this helps. DavidnSteph

rcacace Posted October 23, 2008 #7 Share Posted October 23, 2008 rcacace can you tell me the problem with 718. That is one of the cabins our kids have booked We had a similar cabin on a cruise last year & it servery limits your vision to one side whereas the further you get away from the solid bulkhead it increases you peripheral vision significantly. You've got to envision that the cabin window is recessed back at least 15 or 20 feet from the outside edge of the ship. Then again it's still way ahead of being in an inside cabin.
