Conquest is going into dry dock

in January (so I've read) do you think they will do anything besides paint, clean, etc? Are they going to add the movie screen:)

Love the Conquest. Went last October. Hope to be on that ship again and can only imagine how much better she will be.

Maybe I'll actually watch the big screen this time. Been on a ship with MUTS three times and never really paid much attention to it. The grandkids enjoyed it though.

 

I am really looking forward to being on the "new & improved" Conquest.

I am excited to hear that they will be taking the Conquest into dry dock, we will be sailing on it in April. Anyone know exactly what all they will be doing to it?

At the end of the January 11 cruise. Which we'll be on; we'll need to another cruise later to compare.

We are on the January 4 sailing. I wonder what condition the ship will be in. You know.... "let's let that go, we'll fix it in a couple of weeks while she's in dry dock."

 

Will they close any areas down early so that they can prep for dry dock??

I just saw her in Cayman and thought she really looked like she needed a drydock. The outside really looked like it could use a good paint job, not just touch up.

didn't see any problems Feb 2008 but still excited about improvements because going again Feb 2009.

Was on her in Oct. She looked liked she was in very good shape. Did not notice much age on her. They were doing touch up work on her the whole time. Carnival seems to stay on top things pretty much.

I am on the first sailing after the dry dock. I have read horror stories about the first sailing after dry dock and I have to say I am a little nervous about it. I am praying that all will be done.
