Hello NCL Experts.

 

Can anyone tell me if there are self service laundry facilities on the Gem?

 

Is there a hydrotherapy pool similar to the Dawn?

 

What is the "Bridge Observation Room"?

 

Will the pools be heated on the Nov. 9 Barcelona sailing? Brrrrrrrr.

 

The deck plan is hard to decipher. Is there a hot tub(s) forward on Deck 14?

We'll be on the Gem in a couple of weeks, so I can't tell you about the her yet.

The Jewel, however, has at least three laundry rooms. They are on the starboard side, forward of the center elevator/stairwell.

The Jewel has an observation room on deck 11, portside hallway, all the way forward. It's a small room directly behind the bridge with a window to the bridge and a couple of RADAR repeaters. See pix below.

I trust others will come up with more definite info.

Can anyone tell me if there are self service laundry facilities on the Gem? Yes. There are three: Decks 10, 9, and 5. They are located on the Starboard side just forward of the midship elevators.

 

Is there a hydrotherapy pool similar to the Dawn? Yes.

 

What is the "Bridge Observation Room"? This is a room with windows where you can view activity on the bridge. Note that the blinds are closed at night and during docking/undocking activities.

 

Will the pools be heated on the Nov. 9 Barcelona sailing? Brrrrrrrr. Unknown.

 

The deck plan is hard to decipher. Is there a hot tub(s) forward on Deck 14? No. Those are the round radar domes that you see. The hot tubs are by the pools on deck 12.

Yes, there is 3 of them. Each has 3 x washer & 3 x dryer.

Yes, but you have to pay.

You can view the bridge during the day

They were on 6/1 cruise , so I would hope so :p

The pools were heated when we sailed last February.

 

We had a great time, she is a beautiful ship... we are actually sailing her again on December 6th for the same Itinerary as last time.
