Coz to Playa DC

Has anyone taken a cab (or ferry or whatever it would be:confused: ) from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen recently? Just wondering about how much it cost and how hard it was to get transportation to PDC? We were there a few years ago (pre-hurricane) and really liked it so were thinking about going there again next week. Anything you can tell me or suggest? Thanks!!

Cozumel is an island, so you will have to take a ferry. They have boats that run back and forth between Coz. and PDC, not sure the cost though.

It used to be around $12 one way. The ferry docks right near Senor Frog's and 5th Ave in Playa del Carmen. If you need a cab, just walk about a block up the hill and there are cabs there. It usually takes about 45 minutes for the crossing.
