gill_boo Posted October 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2008 So, I am just off the Triumph. On one sea day, mid cruise, the laundry facilities were crazy busy because it was an overcast/rainy day. Everyone seemed to be getting laundry done. So, there was a lineup at one point when I first tried so I left and came back later. When I came back a few hours later, a Carnival staff member was in there in uniform folding her clothing, both personal and staff uniforms. I was a little pissed that I had to wait because a staff member was using our facilities when they have these available to them in the bottom of the ship, especially on a day when the laundry was busy enough for guests. Is this common practise or a big no no for staff?

G'ma Posted October 27, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 27, 2008 Well, the servants are allowed to use the masters facilities occassionally.
gill_boo Posted October 27, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted October 27, 2008 Well' date=' the servants are allowed to use the masters facilities occassionally.[/quote'] G'ma, I have nothing but respect for those who work incredibly hard for us while we are off just enjoying ourselves. I just feel that if the ship is going to provide these facilities for their guests, I don't think a staff member should be using them at peak times when the machines are obviously in high demand. On the other hand, it may have been the only time in her schedule to get her laundry done. Some staff do have the use of facilities in the passenger areas. Usually entertainment, shops, photo, casino. Dave
