Carnival Conquest Midnight Buffet

A friend of mine went on a cruise last month and informed me that the midnight buffet is no more. Could I please get some additional confirmation on this? Maybe he just went to sleep early that day and missed it or something. I am scheduled in Feb on the Conquest and would hate to see that this was scratched...

According to threads on their site.....I hate to tell you that I have read they are history!!! Something about all that food going to waste because it wasn't getting ate.

The "Gala Midnight Buffet" is gone with the fancy food displays....but not the others that seem to take place around midnight such as the mexican food buffet and then of course, there is food available at midnight at the lido buffet restaurant area.

i personally thought the food went to waste too since the other food was available too. when in feb are you going? we are 22nd.

Most cruise lines have done away with the traditional midnight buffet. Some still provide lite snacks in their buffet area late at night.
