Can you ask for an upgrade/OBC if...

...I am booked in category 8A on the Destiny, and they are now offering upgrades to the Lido deck with an 8A booking? The reason for asking is because we booked very early, and the current price for an 8A is more than what we paid (currently paid in full). Am I asking for too much? :o

If it's more than what you paid, I'm not sure how you could get an OBC. The sales are generally for new bookings... and if what they are giving away is more than you paid, it wouldn't make sense for them to give you anything... so my answer to your question would be yes... be happy you got the better price. I guess if you want to pay the going rate, you could ask for an upgrade, but who would want to do that?? :)
