cruise1985 Posted December 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2008 Hi all, I'm going on my 2nd cruise on the Fascination. And was just confirmed for two OV cabins on upper deck at rear. Last cruise, I was in an interior room, midship, main deck. It was a very rocky cruise, but I did not get sick. For some reason, I imagine that rooms at the rear feel the motion even more. Is this true? Thanks!

Is this true? Thanks! We were in U241 on the Imagination last year and LOVED it!!! There is a HUGE window seat that you can sit in and watch the wake....so relaxing! And no, we didn't feel any more motion back there than midship. But that's just DH and me. If you are super, ultra prone to movement, you might feel it worse than midship. But, I loved that aft view and window seat!! Enjoy!

Is this true? Thanks! Have done rear cabins twice (Imagination and Liberty) both times on the Main Deck. Would absolutely do it again. Some rumble if there are rough seas, but you wont get the up/down pitching motion you get on forward cabins which is what actually makes people sick. cruisego23 Posted December 3, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 3, 2008 If you really think you may get seasick go to the doctor. They will prescribe some great anti-seasickness that is like a sticker in the back (outside) of your ear. You will see some people wearing it and it works great. cruise1985 Posted December 4, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Thanks for the replies! I'll get some motion sickness stuff just in case. No matter what, I'm just looking forward to cruising!

I was on Inspiration this last February and a friend of mine had U-241 on the Upper Deck and hated it.. He did like the AFT view from the window but said that for much of his cruise the cabin really vibrated BAD ! He also thought their was more movement. I told him he need to man up and have a few more drinks of the day and he would not notice any of those little things ! :D
