Upgrade from Cat.11 connecting?

We are leaving Dec. 27th for 7 nights on the Magic! :p Thanks to everyone who has posted so many terrific tips I feel like we are ready to go!

We have two adults and three kids (11,10 & 6) booked into two connecting Category 11 rooms. My questions is: would it be worth it to try for an upgrade, either to two rooms with portholes or to one of the "family" suites, or will we be just fine where we currently are. When we booked this trip last year, nothing else was available.

Thanks for your advice!

Are you sure you are booked in cat. 11 cabins? Cat. 11 cabins are next to each other, there aren't any of them that have connecting inside doors if that is what you think you have booked.

You can upgrade now if cabins are available, but you will be paying the current rate. Or you can hope for the upgrade fairy to visit. Or you can hope there are cabins still available when you check in at the port and can upgrade there for a set rate.
