nanfromatlanta Posted December 7, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2008 Will Santa be on the Mariner on Christmas day for all the kids?If so, what kind of schedule might he have? We have cruised for the last few years during the Christmas holidays and Santa has always arrived on Christmas morning. He usually arrives either up on the pool deck or in the Centrum. He then proceeds to the theater where he gives gifts to all of the children. If I remember correctly, it was around 9:00 AM, or so. His arrival will be announced over the loudspeaker. wolfcathorse Posted December 7, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 7, 2008 He'll be there, it is printed in the Cruise Compass. On Vision 2006, he was handing out presents to all the kids in the Centrum from about 9:00 - 10:00 am (it was a sea day). They got good gifts too, not cheap things. I asked one kid what he got and he got a T-shirt while his sister got something like a shoulder bag.

The kids all got RCI Beach Towels (the good ones)...
Willbcruisin Posted December 7, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 7, 2008 We were onboard Navigator last Christmas and Santa did arrive and was at the ice rink with all of his helpers as well as the CD and had wonderful gifts for all the kids! My DD was 15 and received a very nice RCC shoulder bag!
EGG Posted December 8, 2008 #6 Share Posted December 8, 2008 Ditto for Explorer. There was a Santa Parade pretty early in the morning. The crew gave out eggnog as we waited in the Promenade. Everyone followed Santa to the ice skating rink where he sat under falling snow from the ceiling and gave out small presents. It was a pretty small crowd considering the 800 minor on the cruise, probably because it was 8 - 8:30ish.
