MizzouMary Posted December 10, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2008 Hi We were at Atlantis about five years ago and the aquarium by the restaurant (down a flight of stairs) was free to observe. Is this still free and open to the public? Is it worth a trip over to the resort to see? We have a large group and really don't know what to do for the day since we only have approx 4 hours to hang out on the island. Thanks!

The area near the restaurant (Great Hall of Waters) is still available for viewing to the public, but the actual aquarium and DIGs, Predator lagoons etc require a pass ($35 for adults, $23 for kids). After the dinner hour, around 7pm, security leaves the area and you are free to walk thru the exhibit without a pass. This is not to say that it is Open to the public for free, it's just that there usually isn't anyone around to stop you. During the daytime, you'll need a pass in order to see more than the area in the restaurant.
