Kykitty Posted December 14, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2008 Has anyone been able to schlepp bottled water onto the ship in luggage? Is this a big issue with RCI these days? Thanks for any information!
philnpen Posted December 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2008 I took two sealed 16oz bottles of water in my checked suitcase and it passed through. Meanwhile DW took an opened 32oz bottle on her checked suitcase and was sent to the 'naughty room' to prove it wasn't booze. Go figure? I have seen others put a luggage sticker on a case of water and get it delivered to their cabin.
Alexis Posted December 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 14, 2008 Has anyone been able to schlepp bottled water onto the ship in luggage? Is this a big issue with RCI these days? Thanks for any information! RCCL does not stop you from bringing bottled water on board the ship. You can actually bring a case, put you cabin information tag on it and give it to the baggage handlers with your luggage. Or just carry it on with your carry on things. Make sure they are unopened. ;)
fridaythe13th Posted December 14, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 14, 2008 On our October Mariner cruise we put a luggage tag on two cases of water, left it with the porters and had it delivered to our cabin.
