Question about bottled water?

Has anyone been able to schlepp bottled water onto the ship in luggage? Is this a big issue with RCI these days? Thanks for any information!

I took two sealed 16oz bottles of water in my checked suitcase and it passed through. Meanwhile DW took an opened 32oz bottle on her checked suitcase and was sent to the 'naughty room' to prove it wasn't booze. Go figure? I have seen others put a luggage sticker on a case of water and get it delivered to their cabin.

RCCL does not stop you from bringing bottled water on board the ship. You can actually bring a case, put you cabin information tag on it and give it to the baggage handlers with your luggage. Or just carry it on with your carry on things.

Make sure they are unopened. ;)

On our October Mariner cruise we put a luggage tag on two cases of water, left it with the porters and had it delivered to our cabin.
