Help.New to Princess..mini suite vs. Penthouse?

Hello,

 

Planning on going on the Sapphire Princess on Feb 14th. I have 4 people traveling. We can either stay in one room for a mini suite or should we get two Penthouses next to each other? :confused:I'm just worried about not being enough room for 4 in a mini suite? Do you get perks in a mini suite? Any information will be great! Thanks!:)

The Princess mini-suite is not particularly large; it's really just an extended standard cabin with an area near the balcony door with a couch, table and chair, plus a 2nd TV. There aren't a lot of perks with a mini-suite, i.e., you get a larger bathroom with a shower/tub and better toiletries, etc. Only full suites get the Internet and other perks. You are probably better off getting two cabins.

Do you mean 2 mini suite versus one penthouse? You can do a search for actual cabin pictures. The balconies at the front are sometimes not as usable because of the wind.

I was going to do 2 penthouses vs. one mini suite. The highest level we can do for 4 people is a mini suite, so then I thought maybe we would do two penthouses instead.

As you can see, there is a LOT of difference between the two. But again, you pay a lot more for a PH over a mini suite. It all depends on what is important to you on your cruise.

Also if you are talking 4 adults in a mini suite, that would be a bit on the crowded side IMHO. Especially with only the one bathroom.

4 adults in a mini suite will be very cramped. You'll be much better off getting two mini suites.
