flamboyant 1 Posted April 22, 2004 #26 Share Posted April 22, 2004 It is nice to get an extra credit for a suite, but there is a big difference between RS and GS or JS in price!!! For 12+ nights in a suite do you get 3 or 4 cruises credited ?
Cruising Fool Posted April 22, 2004 #27 Share Posted April 22, 2004 W&K: You wrote "Don't forget to get the onboard credit for owning stock! That's a real goodie." We own stock on Royal Caribbean. How much stock do you have to have? Who do you call to get the onboard credit? How much is the onboard credit? Well, just tell me as much as you can. Thanks! w&k Posted May 21, 2004 #28 Share Posted May 21, 2004 Marianne- If you own 100 shares or more of RCL stock, you can receive an onboard credit for RCCL and X cruises booked before May 1, 2005. I found out about this somewhere on these boards - I wish I'd known many cruises ago. Since I bought the stock in January, we have amassed $350 in credits for 3 cruises. (2 4-day, 1 14-day) Happy crediting and cruising! Wendy RCL shareholder benefit
FOXTROT Posted May 22, 2004 #29 Share Posted May 22, 2004 A 12 day cruise in a suite = 3 credits. The Double Diamond after 25 cruises we were told would start later this year. Our favorite perk is the Platnium & Diamond member party. Sovereign 598 Sovereign 599 Sovereign 500 Voyager 1100 Explorer 501 Radiance 1101 Majesty 302 Adventure 402 Enchantment 1102 Monarch 103 Legend 403 Navigator 1103 Mariner 304 Grandeur 404 Sovereign 504 Serenade 1104
pcur Posted May 22, 2004 #30 Share Posted May 22, 2004 Cool...what do the Double Diamond members get? We have several more cruises to go to reach 25, but it would be nice to know. Peggy - RCI since 1973
Blizzard54 Posted May 22, 2004 #31 Share Posted May 22, 2004 We have enjoyed the Diamond perks. Now that Princess has increased the loyalty program I expect that RCI is looking at adding another level. We have not quite reach 25 with RCCL but we are getting close. .ewinstien Posted May 23, 2004 #32 Share Posted May 23, 2004 Can someone please tell me what are the so called "CREDITS"? How do you get the credits? What do you do with the credits? I do know about the ship board credit if you own 100 shares of RCCL stock, but i do not know anything about credits Inquiring minds would like to know
FOXTROT Posted May 23, 2004 #33 Share Posted May 23, 2004 When i used the term credit it equls number of cruises. RCL is saying to reach Diamond level you need 10 cruises. You could take for example 10 3 day cruises. Or 3 12 day cruises in a suite plus 1 7 day cruise in an interior room. 3,4,5,7,10,11 day cruise = 1 credit cruise 12 day or longer cruises = 2 credits cruise cat. C or higher suite = 1 credit cruise
cruisldy Posted May 23, 2004 #34 Share Posted May 23, 2004 pcur, According to your list, I won't be able to enjoy the Diamond member Concierge Club, because there isn't one on the Legend of the Seas? That was one perk I was really looking forward to as a Diamond member. Sheila Likes to cruise twice as much for half the price.
pcur Posted May 23, 2004 #35 Share Posted May 23, 2004 I know how you feel about the Concierge Lounge....I have yet to be on a ship that has one. I'm looking forward to it, also. Peggy - RCI since 1973
