Puerta Vallarta Pirate Ship Adventure

Hello,

I was interested in this tour and read some former reviews:eek: but they were all from 2003-2004. Has anyone recently taken this tour? Has it changed? I will have a 4 yr old and a 14 yr old. I want to do something fun for them but also fun for the adults:D that has to do with either beach/boat type thing. I thought my 4yr old would love it since it's a pirate ship...but was nervous when I read the reviews. Any help would be great!

Thanks:p

We have found that most of these pirate ship excursions are more like a party boat. Lots of drinking and adults being silly.

I have never taken the one mentioned before, but have taken several others. Not really a kid adventure excursion on the ones we have booked. :(

What might be of help to you is go the Ports of Call board and scroll down to Mex. riviera. There has been some posts recently on that very excursion. Just do a search on that.

The "pirate ship" is a family excursion that takes you across Bandaras Bay to a beach area (Pirate Land) during the day and is an adult booze cruise at night. Information can be obtained directly from the tour operator at http://www.marigalante.com.mx/

More current CC reviews/feedback can be found on the Ports of Call - Mexican Riviera forum.

Enjoy!
