Rare PescadoAmarillo Posted January 3, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 3, 2009 RC does too. We just booked a 7 night Mexico cruise for Feb at an extremely low price for active and retired military.
DrivesLikeMario Posted January 3, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 3, 2009 Yes, they do, but it is on a very few specific sailings. They chose the dates that they accept them, so you'd have to have your TA find out if there is a Military Rate for your particular sailing. They don't advertise them the way Carnival does. Also, if you do have the rate on your sailing, be prepared to fax them proof of your military service. (Sorry - I don't remember the number of the military form that they require.) newmexicoNita Posted January 3, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 3, 2009 The only 3 lines that I know of that do offer military rates are: RCI, NCL and Carnival. Even then it does depend on the sailing. Nita
Colo Cruiser Posted January 3, 2009 #8 Share Posted January 3, 2009 I have been told repeatedly no military discount on Princess. Those darn CSR's.
cacy6893076 Posted January 3, 2009 #9 Share Posted January 3, 2009 Lots of confusion regarding this......The military discount used to be on the interline rate, bookable through interline agencies only......the military discount program was discontinued in june 2008. Interline rates are still available for airline employees. This applies to Cunard and Princess.
DrivesLikeMario Posted January 3, 2009 #10 Share Posted January 3, 2009 Yes, you're right. It's the interline rate. I haven't heard about it being discontinued and as of this morning when I was on the phone with Princess about another price drop, they didn't say it had been cancelled, but you could be right about that too. :)
