misand Posted January 4, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2009 Anyone know is the Orchestra in FLL for 5 straight days to change things over for the Carib sailings? Looks dead on the deck right now.
lovetexas Posted January 4, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2009 Just for fun I went to their website and they don't have any cruises out till the 10th... Maybe they are getting a review on customer service in America?? Hope so, because we are on it in March!!
Chesneygirl Posted January 4, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2009 I just took a look at the brochure and it reads that there is a sailing on Jan 3rd, 09. But I don't see how that is possible since there was a 2 night cruise that started on Jan 2nd. Besides if you look at the webcam http://www.kroooz-cams.com/MSCindex.html you can see that it is docked in what looks like FLL and for the deck web cam it looks like they are doing some kind of maintenance. Ex Bklyn Girl Posted January 4, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2009 I don't have good news for those that are going on this ship. It is an absolute disaster. We just got off a 2 day nightmare. The ship was supposed to leave at 7 PM and people were boarding till 8:30 PM. Embarkation was only the first of many problems. The life boat drill was postponed until 8:30 AM after we docked in Nassau so no one could get off the ship and they stopped serving breakfast in the dining room for 1/2 hour during the drill so you either had to eat before of after. We asked for extra pillows at 3PM on Friday and after asking several more times finally got them at 1 AM Saturday morning. The buffet area has 4 ounce glasses for your drinks and it's self service. There is no free iced tea, lemonade, etc. They have water, juices, coffee and tea. If you want decaf, it's instant coffee, not brewed. After Friday there were no more wash clothes in any cabins. The major problem is that there are very few people that understand English and trying to get your point across or getting something you need is next to impossible. On the plus side, the cabins are very nice, the shows were very good although shorter than what we're accustomed to, and the gelato is excellent. CherylsCaribbeanTravel Posted January 4, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 4, 2009 I believe the next cruise is a Jam cruise Jan 4-9th. It looks like they built a stage for the performers on deck today. http://www.jamcruise.com/jc7/home.php Cheryl :)
