~Jo~ Posted January 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2009 We usually cruise out of New York and cab it from Grand Central to the terminal but this Feb. we are taking the Explorer from Bayonne. Is it possible to take a cab from Grand Central to Bayonne? Will it be difficult to convince a taxi driver to take us? How much $$ ? It is about 14 miles according to Map Quest. We are still considering taking our car but would prefer to take train in NYC and cab if possible. Want the easiest way, don't want to have to bring the ice pick and shovel to get out upon our return!!! Thanks, ~Jo~

They do have to take you to EWR for a reasonable fare but the cruise terminal is not included(I have asked the NY City TLC to set such a fare). Use a pre arranged car service the going rate is about $50.00 Its a short ride really much closer then EWR... carmel, 2127777777 or any reputable one will do(as examples).
