Scotswoman Posted January 29, 2009 #51 Share Posted January 29, 2009 Thanks, Steve! So there´s some hope we might end up with a netbook after all if the price is right in Dubai.:) Have just read your note about the Hong Kong tailor too - I´ve taken a note of the address - so thank you for that too! Skeezics Posted January 30, 2009 #52 Share Posted January 30, 2009 Visa question: I understand that Azamara does the Visas for Viet Nam and Cambodia on board.....must you take their excursions if you go this route? (When we did Russia several years ago your visa's were issued on board; however, you could not venture out on an independent tour - you had to have your own to do that) Thanks, Barb Quest: Asia Feb. 20, 2010
crzfanatic Posted February 2, 2009 Author #53 Share Posted February 2, 2009 Thanks for your input and your help to us on the ship. The information on Hong Kong that you gave us was incredibly helpful and we really enjoyed Hong Kong and found it to be a high point of the trip. It was great having our hotel room on the 40th floor with a fantastic view of Hong Kong, although I still would have loved to have seen the view from your apartment. It was great to meet you and fun to have you and so many other fun people on this wonderful cruise. Andy
Rare uktog Posted February 2, 2009 #54 Share Posted February 2, 2009 Just back from the 17 Jan trip - Visas are for everyone, there is no restriction on whether you are on a ships tour or doing trips on your own A
