Has anyone done a day trip to an all-inclusive resort in nassau? I came across breezes, but was wondering if there were others. We will be there on the Carnival Glory in April. Thank in advance.

Hi I will be in Nassau in July, was wondering the same question, thanks for all replies!

There are about 4 or 5 but breezes is most likely the best without going to Sandals at over $110 pp. I think breezes is $55 with a coupon or cash. Breezes is 14 and up.

RUI and PI Harbour are 2 others but would not recommend PI Harbour

I do have a 10 yr old, so just want a nice beach to hang out on for the day, calm water,(very important) chair rentals, umbrellas rest rooms, snack bar etc

You may want to try the BCH very near the Ship... just past Senor Frogs. It's $20pp and is not AI but at the price you could buy a lot of snacks/drinks. It is supposed to be calm. We went to Wyndham and the complex would give the youngest plenty to do. It is $40pp but includes a $30 food/bar credit. I'm not sure they would even charge for the kid.

Yes, I could handle the $20 if it has calm water and things for the kiddies to do.....but.....what does BCH stand for? sorry if you just meant Beach, but please let me know so I know what to research. Thanks :)

The BCH is really a very small and quiet beach on the harbour. There really isn't much for kids to do except enjoy the beach.

The pool is quiet also.. it's a business hotel, so you'll see people in suits poolside having lunch.. This means no jumping, or horsing around disturbing others.

For the most part, you'll find people sunning themselves and reading.

If your kids need more stimulation. This is not the place for them.

There's are kayaks for your use, but young children would have to be with an adult.

Hi Scubbagirrl! You have quite a reputation around these parts! I appreciate your input and Any advice that you could give me... I do have the children, and I, myself, like to be able to float in the ocean on a tube or any kind of floatation device. I don't want to pay too much money, but do want a nice ,clean, CALM Water beach with chair rentals, umbrellas, a lil snack or drink.Any advice would be totally appreciated! Thank You!!!!! :)

The Breezes one sounds really nice! Does anyone have a link to this? I can't seem to find it in my excursions info...

Go by yourself... taxi would be $5pp each way or Bus (jitney) is $1.25 pp. Breezes is $60pp over 14 (except during spring break it's 18) or $55 with cash. That's for 10am til 6pm

Susie, either British Colonial Hilton or The Wyhdham at Cable Beach will fit the bill. Both have calm waters. Not sure about mats for floating. (you can bring you own from the dime store and leave it behind).

It's hard to keep up on what devices these places have.. some days you'll see trikes and mats, others kayaks and noodles. These things where out quickly and get replaced season after season .. So there's no telling what they will have for your enjoyment when you get there.

THe hilton is small and quiet and on the harbour.. the wyndham is a family friend hotel with casino, water slide, piped in music.. the works.

Was at it a couple of weeks ago and it was fun... slide with plenty to do... Live DJ spinning the music - very upbeat. Now this was on the weekend, so not sure what it would be like on a weekday.

We will be coming by cruise April 17 -Friday. I'm interested in the Wyndham because it sound fun for us and our two boys 10 and 13.

I was wondering from the cruise port how would we get there? and how much would that aprox. cost.

How far away is it form the port (time)?

It was mentioned the price was 40.00 pp adults with a 30.00 food drink credit. Was the kids free???? And is this the correct price

Thanks for any help.

If you have 4 you might want to look at getting a room... either at Wyndham or Sheraton. I have heard they have one for a "day" at $99 up to 4. Getting there - take a taxi for around $20 for 4 or the bus (jitney) for $1.25pp and tell them where you are going. It is the #10 Jitney. The $40 does include $30 in food. I have heard both ways on food/drink. I"m not sure about the kids price.
