WeBeGone Posted April 16, 2009 #26 Share Posted April 16, 2009 I've never seen a Bible on any Princess cruise, but have seen them on NCL. Don, Coracii, and Rollexx - don't worry. She forgives you.
packercruising Posted April 16, 2009 #27 Share Posted April 16, 2009 I've never seen a Bible on any Princess cruise, but have seen them on NCL. Don, Coracii, and Rollexx - don't worry. She forgives you. Actually, no He doesn't. The offer to repent expires when we do. :)
jagsfan Posted April 17, 2009 #28 Share Posted April 17, 2009 Since the cruise lines don't put Bibles or any other religious books in the drawers, but do allow Gideon Society to do so, maybe another religious group could put theirs. If they did, and it was in English, it wouldn't hurt me to read a little. I might learn something I didn't know before. The bibles Gideon distributes are not the version I read, but I have never felt the least bit offended to have them there.

FunForUs Posted April 17, 2009 #32 Share Posted April 17, 2009 Just wondering if our rooms have Bibles in them....like motels, and hotels? If they do, I'll have one less thing to pack. Thanks for your help. If you get a Kindle you can bring all of your books, including a bible on it. I just bought one and it is amazing!
Coracii Posted April 17, 2009 #33 Share Posted April 17, 2009 If you get a Kindle you can bring all of your books, including a bible on it. I just bought one and it is amazing! I never bought the first version of the Kindle, but I recently shelled out the money for the new version for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Although it's not cheap, it's definitely well worth the money if people that enjoy reading can swing it.
Ula Posted April 17, 2009 #34 Share Posted April 17, 2009 If you get a Kindle you can bring all of your books, including a bible on it. I just bought one and it is amazing! The Kindle is amazing and there are free copies of the Bible available for it. There are also many classic books in the public domain you can pick up for free. Wonderful tool for cruising. tycruiser Posted May 14, 2009 #35 Share Posted May 14, 2009 I bet you can find them in the reading room/library. The library on the Carnival Splendor had the homogenous Gideon's version in our cabin, and stacks of Jehovah Witness propaganda in the library
