Pool and Pool Chairs on Constellation / M class ships

Just have a few questions about the Constellation pools and pool chairs.

1. Is the water really salty?

2. Is it difficult to get a pool chair? If so, what time should I get a chair?

3. Are any chairs shadad or partially shaded from the sun.

4. Is there a limit on pool towels?

THANKS!

1) Not as salty as the ocean

2) Depends which pool you're talking about, it can be very hard to get a chair near the T-Pool

3) Plenty under the roof

4) Nope.

The pool chairs are harder to get on sea days and when there are lots of families with children cruising.

When there are fewer kids, meaning more older folks, it's easy to get a chair any time, because they tend to stay out of the sun for long periods of time.

When are you cruising?

  • 2 weeks later...

Pools and hottubs are open until the late dinner seating begins (around 8:30).

Since I've always had late seating, I've never actually seen them closing them down, but they are definitely not open after dinner. No late night hot tub parties on Celebrity!:p

One of my petpeeves on our only Celebrity cruise was that the pool attendants would try to close the pools early if no one was in them. I hope that's changed when we go on the Century next month. I like a quick swim before dinner and we have second seating (and don't take very long to get ready, especially on non-formal nights).
