Mysticks1 Posted February 17, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2009 I typed this reply but the thread was closed before I could post it. Another trick for preventing wrinkles in clothes when packing is to pack those that are prone to wrinkles inside dry cleaner bags. This allows them to slide back and forth a little and will prevent a good deal of wrinkles in them. :) Along with using the steam from the shower this should help. If you use the Downey Wrinkle Release - I use it on casual clothes but on a past cruise several CC members used it on their formal clothes and you could see the spots in the photos. Ma Bell Posted February 17, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2009 If I have a persistent wrinkle, I hang the garment on the back of the bathroom door and just hold the hair dryer close to it while pulling down on the garment. Just move the dryer up and down the length of the piece of clothing, it works wonders.:)
train Posted February 17, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 17, 2009 Great tips, thanks. The dry cleaning bags sure do make a difference, don't they? I've never tried the hair dryer wrinkle fix but will definitely give it a go.
Buellwinkle Posted February 17, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2009 Good idea for a travel iron, make an attachment that goes on hotel hair dryers that turns it into an iron.
