lovedolphins Posted February 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2009 Just off the Valor and watched the show where Carnival showed all the cruise lines they own. If I book with one of her sister ships, will it count toward my VIP status? Thanks in advance :D
NCTribeFan Posted February 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2009 Nope. Go to Carnival's website. It will explain the Past Guest policy and how it relates to the other lines. You do qualify for past-guest prices on the other lines, if applicable to the sailing you want to book. But each individual line has their own loyalty program. Uncle Doug Posted February 18, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2009 Any Carnival ship will count to the Platinum VIP status for the Carnival Cruise line only. The other family lines like Princess Cruise line will extend past guest privilages only to CCL past guests. Once you do reach Platinum level you all of a sudden get on each lines mailing list. Hopefully someday Platinum VIP status on one line will extend to all the other lines within the Carnival corp fleet.
