Can a person get a one way Princess Transfer from Sea Tac to Pier 01 and not have to get round a trip transfer? We are thinking of doing the Princess Best of Seattle Tour on the day we return from our Alaska Cruise. Understand they bus drops you off at the Airport. Anyone done this tour with Princess?

Yes, a one way transfer is available.

We are doing a one night pre-cruise stay, booked thru Princess, which includes the transfer to the pier.

When I booked this, I specifically asked if a transfer from the ship to the airport could be reserved, if we later chose to do that. The Princess rep said yes, and it would cost $24 per person.

We too are considering this tour after our cruise in June. Does anyone know how the luggage is handled, and also the disembarking?

Thanks!!

Last summer we paid for the option to have Princess print our boarding passes and luggage tags and then transport our luggage to the airport for us. We did not see our bags until we arrived at our home airport (I'm not sure if they do this anymore, but it was worth the ten extra dollars). Others who took this tour with us picked up their bags in the terminal and brought them to the bus to be loaded underneath, where they stayed until we were dropped at the airport. There were porters to help. As for disembarkation, we were given a colored ticket and told where to wait until our color was called. We were off the ship in a jiffy and found the bus easily. If you sign up for the tour, you will be given and earlier time for disembarkation. You leave most of your luggage outside your door the evening before and it will be waiting inside the terminal when you disembark. All we were told for customs was to have our passports open to the photo page and it was checked as we walked by, did not even stop to get them checked.

Do you call Princess and ask about having Princess print the boarding passes and luggage tags or will our TA take care of that if we ask? Or do we wait till we are on the ship to request this?

If they still do it, you can sign up for it on your Princess personalizer online or wait until you are on the ship. We signed up for both the tour and the luggage service on the personalizer prior to sailing. Once onboard you will receive paperwork to fill out regarding your flight and number of bags you have.

Thank you so much for this detailed info. This is perfect. We have a late flight and were concerned about having to sit around the airport for hours. This will help kill a few hours. I think that paying to have Princess handle the luggage sounds like a great thing.
