AtlFirstTimeCruiser Posted February 25, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 25, 2009 I'm not taking credit for the attached picture of the menu. It was posted on CC few weeks ago. Looking forward to our March 14 Summit cruise... After uploading the image, I realized that it was resized to the point that is is hard to read... I convert the image to a .pdf file. HolstonRiverVOL Posted February 25, 2009 #8 Share Posted February 25, 2009 We had breakfast in our RS every morning last year on The Century. On veranda on port days and in cabin on sea days. It was not on the menu but I had Eggs Benedict every day .. and it was great ... and ready for a repeat performance next month. Our butler, Richard, told us that we could order anything that was available in the MDR. MY DW and daughter loved being pampered .. I didn't mind it either :D

PetalMel Posted February 25, 2009 #10 Share Posted February 25, 2009 YUM!!!! All those choices--how to choose? The fruits look fantastic, and I will try a baked banana just because they sound intriging!
devnull Posted February 25, 2009 #11 Share Posted February 25, 2009 Cruizinsoulmates, that's the menu for the CC class staterooms, though Suites can usually get what's on it and more too. Staterooms under CC class have a limited breakfast menu.

GottaCruise24 Posted February 26, 2009 #13 Share Posted February 26, 2009 I wonder if they still put a few sprinkles of shreaded mint in with the mixed fresh fruit. It was a special touch eating it for breakfast on the balcony. :)
jimphil Posted February 27, 2009 Author #14 Share Posted February 27, 2009 Is the mixed fruit on the menu the usual melon/pineapple type mix or can you get mixed berries?
BostonBud Posted February 27, 2009 #15 Share Posted February 27, 2009 Thanks. the menu looks wonderful. We're on the Solstice next week and i think we might have breakfast in the room since we've always had it at the buffet. The thought of those baked bananas make my mouth water. devnull Posted February 28, 2009 #18 Share Posted February 28, 2009 Thanks. the menu looks wonderful. We're on the Solstice next week and i think we might have breakfast in the room since we've always had it at the buffet. The thought of those baked bananas make my mouth water. The menu on the Solstice is a bit different or at least it was on my cruise. For example when I was on the Solstice in a Sky Suite they didn't have the Berry Granola Parfait which I really like. They might have had the baked bananas though. One change I enjoyed was finding shrimp cocktail on the TV room service menu.
BostonBud Posted February 28, 2009 #19 Share Posted February 28, 2009 Quick question. We've never ordered room service so I'm not sure what the answer is. if you order from room service and you don't order any drinks how do you tip? Do you have to give cash? There no way to add the tip to the onboard account? And what's a good tip?
hajekfam Posted February 28, 2009 #20 Share Posted February 28, 2009 Is this menu available in the MDR? No this menu is for the concierge class stateroom breakfast not the main dining room. is everything on the menu included in cc?well besides the cocktails that are losted with a price ofcourse anyone have copies of other menus from the M class ships? Everything on the menu is included in a concierge class cabin at no charge except when specified. If you do get a link , make sure that you are view the new menus - Celebrity started a changeover of menus last year - they are different from previous menus. All of the links that I have saved are for the old menus. The menus are the same on all Celebrity ships.
City_Woman Posted February 28, 2009 #21 Share Posted February 28, 2009 I love the idea of having breakfast in our cabin or on our balcony. So glad we booked CC for our first Celebrity cruise. Judy

fernem Posted February 28, 2009 #24 Share Posted February 28, 2009 When you order breakfast to your room, in my experience it is a room service person who brings the food up, not your cabin steward. Thus, it is customary, or at least kind, to tip that person separately and I gave the person two dollars as a thank you. I am sure there are no rules about this. fern
