Supershuttle at LGB?

OK, getting the last few things figured out for our trip.

We fly into LGB March 12, pick up rental car, drive to Santa Monica for our two night pre-cruise stay at the Cal-Mar (again - thanks CJW ;))

Then cruise morning, we drive to port, hubby drops me and the two girls and takes car back...sounds easy, right?

But NOoooooo....

I was adding everything up and decided my enterprise rental, with the drop fee added, was WAY too much. Over a hundred bucks for two days.

So I used priceline and got the same full size car for $17 a day.

I thought he could drop us and then take the car back to LGB, grab a cab or shuttle. Super shuttle with coupon $14.45. Cab $44.

Would still be cheaper than original plan!

Is it possible to just grab a shuttle at the airport without reserving? I am just afraid that if I make a reservation and he isnt there on time, or we are delayed, etc we may lose our prepaid shuttle.

Is it possible to just walk outside and grab a shuttle like LAX?

Info greatly appreciated!

Take a deep breath...

Breathe in, breathe out...

;)

Okay

There are shuttles at LGB, but not a lot circling around continually like LAX.

But at the same time, they won't ditch you, or lose your prepaid reservation if you are not there on time, or are late.

They are used to travelers and flights being late, delayed, etc.

If that is in your plan, then just make the reservation, and tell them it's "approximate time"...

They'll give you a number to call when you are there and ready...

It will be fine!

:D
