Things to do in Nassau...

Just wondering if you guys could give us some options of things to do in Nassau. I've seen some posts about paying 40pp to goto the Wyndham at Cable Beach for the afternoon.

Any other ideas? It will be for me and my girlfriend (26 and 25 yo) and travelling at the end of the month. This wil be our 1st real vacation together, so I'd like to find some very nice things to do while in Nassau. We'll be there from 12pm to 10pm.

I'm not the strongest swimmer in the world, so snorkling is out of the question.

Thanks in advance.

Snorkeling is not out of the question just because you are not a strong swimmer. For the most part, you FLOAT on top of the water, with a snorkeling vest on.

I suggest a tour with seahorse (http://www.seahorsesailingadventures.com) or Flying Cloud (http://www.flyingcloud.info). Just tell the staff you're a beginner and need assistance.

You may want to look into Blue Lagoon Island (http://www.dolphinencounters.com) for a Beach Day. It's $45 for the day, including the ferry ride to a private island, lunch and water toys.

You can wander over to the sea lions and Dolphins as well and watch the programs.
