Carnival Dream

Looking to cruise on the Dream in June 2010. Trying to decide between category 9A rooms - Upper, Empress or Verandah decks??!! They all look like different configurations, and all with extended balconies. Does anyone have any pictures of these rooms? I realize it hasn't sailed yet, but are there similar ships' rooms that I can view? Thanks!!

I think you are out of luck. This is a new ship and photo will be hard to come by. I think you may find photos from the Conqest Class that will be some what the same but not the same.

We are booked in the 9A Empress deck on the Dream. I don't know if it matters to you but the Upper deck is not in between decks with cabins.

The Lido deck is Deck 10 (seems like it is usually 9) so if you picked the empress or verandah deck you would have decks above and below you with cabins. Might have less noise!

Decks 7 and 8 - Empress and Verandah will be quieter because they're between decks with only cabins. Deck 6 is over the clubs and deck 9 is under the Lido deck. We've had the 9A on the Freedom and we're booked on the Valor for next week both on deck 7. The Dream has an extra deck, deck 9 - Vista, that the Conquest class ships don't have so that gives you another deck to choose from. We are also booked on the Dream for 2/13/10 in 7454 on deck 7.
