Sorry but if you don't use it up you lose it so I suggest you make withdrawal at the casino counter if need be. When they ask just say you want it for slots. Or purchse some duty free stuff.

Really? So NCL keeps my onboard credit? I booked through a TA and the OBC wasn't from NCL it was from the TA and Visa. So the TA and Visa get my money if I don't use it?

How much OBC will you have?

This is my first time with OBC and I have $550 to blow.

Between the tips @ $12 pp/pd, specialty dinners, bus/ferry pass,

swimming pool at the spa, drinks for him, gambling and jewlry/gifts for us on board.....its gonna go! We'll make sure of that!!! ;)

Yes, I would be curious as to how much OBC you have that might not be used.

It is an OBC credit - not a cash rebate so they should not have to give it back in cash. Of course, if you went to the casino, you could easily take it out and not gamble.

Never heard of anyone that did not use theirs all up.

It would be very difficult not to use up any amount if OBC, imho.

Since your service charge, all your drinks, any excursions, purchases, and specialty restaurants are on the onboard account.

A onboard credit is like a gift card that expires at the end of the cruise. If your TA and Visa wanted to give you cash, they would have ;-)

What happens if we don't use all of our On board credit? Does it get credited onto the credit card they have on file?

nope, use it or lose it...You didn't pay anything for it (well not directly anyway) so you can't be credited for unused portions.
