Admission to PB?

Will admission to Paradise Beach still be free in January? I know about the $5 per person charge for toys. I read on another website you were thinking of charging admission soon. Is this true? If so, how much and when?

 

We'll be there January 17, 2005.

karlanee: I sure hope not. We booked our cruise so long ago, I've watched the buy 1 get 1 drink free pass us by, and then the $5 charge started......gosh, I hope not! I have told so many people to go there-even if I haven't PHYSICALLY been there, YET!

 

Can't wait to go, I check this board, and PB's website (to look at the pictures) on a daily basis.

 

I feel like I already know Tom, Sally, and Caro (as well as many other CC'ers).

No worries, I haven´t heard El Jefe say anything about an admission fee. We just started the $5 Watertoy charge 2 months ago, so I doubt he´ll be doing anything else this season.

What website did you read that on? Gotta check it out!

Here is the website I saw the information on. I am here on the boards several times a day, and hadn't heard you say that - so I thought the guy had misinformation. But I wanted to check to make sure. We'd still show up - too many great things I've heard about PB to pass it up. Now, go set him straight!! J/K

We will be on Carnival Miracle. We arrive Thursday Feb. 24th. I've emailed Sally to arrange for a massage, but the rest of the day we will be at PB.

One old man (62) and his nephew (19) are going to join the crowds (?) at

PB. We will be on the Star and pulling into Cozumel on 1-5-05. As long

as their are drinks and food and shade I will be happy and I hope there will

be enough to keep my nephew occupied. I told him he can always bring his

guitar and sit under an umbrella and play. He plays lots on the balconies

of the ships we cruise on -- so I suspect he will be content. Maybe he can

do something in the water too.

 

I made reservations for the Tulum excursion, but changed my mind when I

heard so much talk about PB. I was not excited about two hours in a bus

anyway. And standing around taking pictures was not too exciting either.

 

I heard talk about chunky soup and/or Spa Get Tee Os! It would be fun to

bring a can of either. Who gets them? See you on 1-5-04!

Did I hear Spaghetti O's!!!! Alright! Foggy...you and your nephew will enjoy your decision. There will be plenty for both of you to do. And yes, there are lots of shady areas under the palm trees or umbrellas for him to play if he decides to bring along the guitar. Hope to be able to meet you boys on the 5th. :D a bunch of 17 of us hope to make it to paradise beach on 1-5-05. Sailing on the Glory. Been reading the boards and it looks a really fun place to be, especially as we`re all differing age groups.

 

Tom, some of us are from England, anythiong you fancy us bringing over? Apart from that plasma t.v.! We`re already having to buy more suitcases. Got some english tea bags I`m bringing already.

Can`t wait. We`re flying on xmas day so will be super relaxed by the time we get to you.

Tom, just wanted to let you know that you definitely get a thumbs up from all of my party. 17 of us.

Everyone had a fantastic time. It was just a shame our ship was leaving early.

Great to meet you, Tom. Enjoy the marmite.

On our return 4 of us volunteeted our plane seats and got really good compensation so hopefully should be able to make it back sometime:) :)
