Cruising with disabilities

I am booked on RC Monarch of the Seas cruise to the Bahamas on May 18th, 2009. I would appreciate anyone who has cruised in a wheelchair or cruised with someone in a wheelchair could give me some tips on how to make things easier on board and/or on shore. Thanks.

Your best bet would be to some here:

which is another forum run at this same website, where lots of us with disabilities can give you all sorts of information about cruising while using a wheelchair. I use one and have been on several cruises -- but not to the Bahamas.

Are you in a handicap-accessible cabin? Knowing that will make a lot of difference in the kind of information we can offer.
