Albert Ross Posted April 12, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2009 Anyone know if this applies on Navigato of the Seas Please? RCI call it MyTime Dining - it is fleet wide, but the computers are not set up for you to book it beforehand yet. So currently you have to go and register as soon as you board for MTD. (exception being the 8 original ships that already have this facility up and running) I have heard that the computers should be up and running by Apr 19, but then I heard that this had slipped to May. Here are the facts: You must prepay the Grats. You can eat dinner anytime between 6 and 9:30p. You can book a table for a specific time each day, and it does not have to be the same time. The tables are mostly 2-tops so there is no sharing. Same menu, same dresscode. It is set up on the top floor of the dining room- currently around 25% of this floor is dedicated to MTD so you do not interfere with the Traditional diners. This % gets larger every week as MTD gets more known and more popular. MTD is fab. RCI have really got this right IMHO.
Mickeylee Posted April 12, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2009 Can you switch to MTD once on board if you don't like your table assignment with traditional dining?
MrZoey Posted April 13, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 13, 2009 We got off NOS 4/6. We had MTD on that trip and loved it!
negc Posted April 13, 2009 #6 Share Posted April 13, 2009 Can you switch to MTD once on board if you don't like your table assignment with traditional dining? You can ask, but since they are initially limiting participation in the program as they roll it out throughout the fleet, you might find that there are no vacancies available unless you sign up shortly after you board. No harm asking though. Of course, if you remain in traditional dining and you don't like your table assignment, speak to the maitre'd and he or she should try to assist you.:)
