my72 Posted May 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2009 Has anyone done a flightseeing excursion in Juneau? I would like any suggestions on which flightseeing excursion is best (either floatplane or helicopter)? I will be in Juneau the first week of August and am looking for something to do there. I have a whale excursion with F.I.S.H.E.S booked in Icy Strait so I would like to find something different to do in Juneau. Also is the whale viewing different in Juneau than in Icy Strait? My husband and myself enjoy seeing wildlife so any suggestions for wildlife or flightseeing excursions out of Juneau are welcome. Thank you in advance for any help. Budget Queen Posted May 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2009 Only my opinion, having flown both floatplanes and helicopters in Alaska numerous times, I give an edge to a glacier helicopter landing. OR do both, again, very worthwhile. :)
