melissa6675 Posted December 12, 2004 #26 Share Posted December 12, 2004 Actually, to 7880812, there have been changes to SOS that affect the staterooms. I am going with a group of 15 other family members on the 12/24 sailing. My sister was bumped from a cabin on deck two to a cabin on deck five. Since we all really wanted to be together, we called RCCL to ask about the change. Seems the area where her stateroom WAS, as well as several others, have been reallocated for other uses completely. Her original stateroom no longer exists. This will be my second sailing on Sovereign, and can't wait to see the changes! Happy Holidays!

Rare chfenton Posted December 12, 2004 #28 Share Posted December 12, 2004 My mom lives in Solana Lakes condos. For those of you that know Cape Canaveral, you know I could hit the ships coming out of the channel with a 9 iron (ok maybe a Driver). Anyway walked out her door this morning and there she was, right in front of me docked at the eastern end of the channel (just in from the ocean-not the typical Royal dock I suppose because they have to let Mariner in on Sunday Morning). She looks beautiful and sparkling brand new at least from the outside. I noticed the balconies and the rock wall (not sure if that had been added before?) but overall what I noticed the most was she did shine! Bon voyage and godspped to those traveling on her soon.
