Opinions of D1, Deck 7 on Grandeur

Recommended Posts

I jumped on a price reduction for a balcony stateroom last night. I moved from a deck 4 oceanview to a deck 7 superior oceanview w/ balcony (cat. D1) on Grandeur of the Seas.

Any opinions of those rooms? Anyone have pictures?

From what I hear, if the Atlantic is rough, being on a lower deck might help if you get seasick easily. I've never been on the GOS, just sharing what I've read here. :)

We sailed on the Granduer last summer in July- had room 7134 and loved it. We found it quite spacious- big closet and lots of storage. Good room on the balcony with two chairs and a small table. There were only 2 in the room. Enjoy this room- you made a great decision.

Great move! There's a reason why balcony rooms are an upgrade over OV rooms. But be forewarned...if this is your first balcony room, you may never go back!

I've been in 4th deck inside, 4th deck OV, 7th deck balcony, 7th deck aft JS's (one corner, one not), and an 8th deck JS. The 7th deck balcony is nice, but it depends on how long you're going to spend in the room. Personally, I've enjoyed them all, the 7th deck corner, aft JS was best.
